Vitamin E

Vitamin E has an important role in cellular respiration of muscles, especially the cardiac muscle, the heart.  Found in unrefined vegetable oils, seeds, nuts, beans, whole grains and fatty fish. Works well with Vitamin C and selenium.  Reduces scar tissue formation both internally and externally, this is why a lot of creams and ointments contain vitamin E.
